Davis , Oklahoma
Slight Risk

This is a day that I did not think I would be going
out with the weather . After watching tornado's in
northern and central Oklahoma on tv. A storm that
had produced a tornado in Anadarko made a turn
that would bring it to may area. After talking to EOC
I headed out around 11:30 pm. for Davis . I set up
behind a close truck on Hwy 7 / I-35 until the out flow
passed my location . Pulled under the conapy after
hearing that the hail core was not far to my north .
Around that time the wind got to 60+ and the canopy
may very well get blown off . I moved out and enjoyed
a good car wash ( 1.5 an hr of rain ) and blow dry ( 60+
wind ) . After about an hour , got word that rotation was
spotted north of Midway hill . I started east of Hwy 7
after passing the A & W truck stop , I started hydroplaneing
and ended up 40 feet of the road . Lucky for me , I got Rodney
on the 2 meter . Rodney and Stevie thankfully was able
to pull me out . As I returned home , Davis had taken a good
amount of damage from the wind and a very large tree on
my street in Sulphur was down due to the very high wind.
Miles: 35
Hail : Pea size
Wind : 60+ ( still feel part of the area was around 100 mph )
Funnels : 0
